LG Electronics today announced its latest Mobile Handset, the LG Optimus G Pro (LG E988).

The LG Optimus G Pro is a feature rich Smartphone that has been built using latest and state-of-the-art Hardware and the latest release of the Android Operating System. Launched at a Price-Tag of Rs.42,500/-, this Handset is intended for sale to buyers of Premium Smart Phones and those who are wanting to upgrade their Premium Smartphones from Apple, HTC, Samsung, Sony, etc. As a Launch Offer an LG Smart Cover worth Rs. 2500/- is being offered free with the LG Optimus G Pro. A few online retailers are also booking the LG Optimus G Pro at a Special Price of Rs. 38,990/-.

Our View: In our opinion, for establishing a large footprint in the market, LG should have launched this High Performance and Elegant Smartphone at a lower price. With a lower price it would have not only got more customers, more market share but would have also hit its Competitors hard in the Premium Smartphone market.
