Samsung India has started pre-booking orders for its much-awaited gizmo the ‘Samsung Galaxy S3’ via its online eStore. People interested to pre-order the phone can pay Rs.2000 as the booking amount, with an opportunity to get an assured gift as well. The Galaxy S3 has been the talk of town since MWC 2012 and was originally launched this month as a part of the ‘Samsung Unpacked’ event that was held in London. The smartphone would be released across Europe and 10 other regions including Delhi (India) starting 29 May 2012.

We’ve heard rumors and leaks for the HTC Desire C for while, the official release made sure the device has arrived the Android smartphone league. The HTC Desire C has finally arrived UK and can now be ordered online with Clove Technology. The first stocks for gizmo are due by 24 May 2012. Considering the overall specs, HTC has tried to incorporate trending and essential features within a decent price band, keeping aside the 600 MHz CPU. Instagram app for Android is out with an update to address issues for devices equipped with a front camera.  The update resolves front camera usage issues while accessing the ‘Advanced Camera’ option on certain variants.  Samsung Galaxy Y and Ace series smartphone users also get a fix for image filters, which has now been resolved and is more reliable. The set of devices include the GT-S5570I, GT-S5363, GT-S5367, GT-S6102, and GT-S6102B. In case you own any of the aforesaid devices, the download is a must for you guys. Samsung has started rolling out the updates to Android ICS 4.0 for the Samsung Galaxy Note to users across Germany and Europe. The update would be pushed via OTA (over-the-air) or Samsung’s PC Suite Kies. The install package weighs 319MB in total, adds the ‘Premium Suite’ of apps as promised, Touch Wiz remains the core for ICS with minimal changes to the design and the New S Memo widget. The best way to start the upgrade is via PC, make sure you’ve taken a backup as well to avoid any issues.

On the software enhancement front the Note has now much more to offer with apps specially tailored for the S-Pen that include S Note, Shape Match and My Story. The visual appearance remains almost the same, if you are well versed with the Gingerbread UI then you won’t feel much of a change, as Touch Whiz is the driving force even on the ICS front. I know that each one of is desperately waiting for update, if luck is on the go you might see the update notification to soon pop-up on your devices. Most of the folks across the European and German belt are already a part of the ICS marathon while others wait eagerly.
