Motorola Moto X Review

Moto X

Most of us are already aware that in a short span of just 5 months, Motorola has tasted success by selling 1 Million Moto phones in India.

I had used the Moto G, seen the Moto E but was curious about the Moto X. I was curious to know more about the Moto X due to the fact that with its mid-range specifications it is expensive; although phones from Sony, Samsung and HTC with higher end specifications are available at a price almost at par with the Moto X. So I decided to check out a Moto X. Here’s what I discovered…

For the first time, as I held a Moto X in my hand it gave me an impression of excellent design, ergonomics and build quality. The size of the Moto X is neither small nor big, neither too thick nor too thin. It has just the right size and is conveniently usable by anyone with a single hand. Moto X offers an excellent grip with its rounded corners, tapered and rubberized anti-slip back cover. The feel, comfort and grip of the Moto X would appeal to anyone who would hold it, be it an iPhone, Sony, Samsung or HTC user. The design of the phone makes its suitable for male as well as female users.

The Power Switch, Volume +/- Switches of the Moto X are located on the right side of the phone. Its Hands-free Socket is on the Top Center and the Micro USB Charging Socket is on the bottom of the phone. The Moto X is a Single SIM Phone with a Nano SIM Slot. The Back Cover of the Moto X and its Battery are not removable. The Phone comes with 2 GB RAM, which is great. Its Total Internal Memory is 16 GB. Approx. 12 GB Memory is available for Applications and User Data. The Internal Memory on the Moto X cannot be expanded with an external SD Card. There is No TV Out Socket. However, the Phone offers Wireless Display facility using Miracast certified Wireless Display Adapters and with Miracast certified TVs.

The Moto X is built using the Motorola X8 Mobile Computing System which includes an optimized Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro SoC with:

  • a 1.7 GHz Dual-Core Krait CPU,
  • a Quad-Core Adreno 320 GPU,
  • a Natural Language Processor and
  • a Contextual Computing Processor.

With 6 processors under its hood, I expected the Moto X to perform well. I was not let down in most areas of my testing.

The Moto X uses Android KitKat version 4.4.2 and is due to receive an Update to KitKat version 4.4.3 anytime. Android KitKat gives Moto X users a clean and bloatware-free Android experience, which needless to say is pleasant, faster and more responsive than its Jelly Bean OS based competitors. KitKat 4.4.3 for Moto X offers new features, such as pausing video recordings, improved camera image quality, better consistency of exposure, more realistic flash coloring, and improved photos in low light conditions using the front camera.

The Moto X has a 4.7” AMOLED 720p HD Display which offers stunning and vivid graphics powered by its Quad-Core Adreno 320 GPU. The Graphics and Display of other phones such as the Samsung Note, N7000 appears dull in comparison with the Moto X. I tested the Display Quality and the GPU Performance of the Moto X by playing back Full HD Videos with Hardware Acceleration ‘On’. Full HD Video playback on the Moto X was absolutely brilliant. Processor and Graphics intensive Games like Real Racing played smoothly, without any lag and with enjoyable graphics.

Moto X Real Racing Experience

The Touchscreen of the phone is excellent. For Gamers and Users who need multiple sensors in Apps, the Moto X is equipped with perhaps the maximum number of sensors I have ever come across on any phone. The Benchmark Scores of the Moto X are as under:

  • Antutu: 23510
  • Vellamo: Multi-Core: 1265, Metal: 938, Chrome Browser: 2351 and 2163.

Antutu Score Moto X(Click on the Picture above for enlarged view)

Vellamo Scores Moto X(Click on the Picture above for enlarged view)

The Sound Quality as well as the Volume of the Moto X are very good. The Sound Effects are customizable for use with Wired Stereo Speakers/ Hands-free Kits as well as its inbuilt Speaker.

The Moto X has a very useful feature viz. ‘Active Display’. To check mails, messages, missed calls, time, etc. a smartphone user has to take the phone out of his pocket, unlock the phone, go to notifications/ the desired application and check the mails/ message/ missed calls, etc. With Active Display, the moment the Moto X is taken out of the pocket, it notifies the user of his mails, messages, missed calls, time, etc. without having to go through the tasks of unlocking the phone and going through all the notifications. I found this feature to be very useful for users who get frequent notifications.

For ambient noise cancellation and voice recognition in noisy environments such as Railway Stations, Factories and Outdoors, the Moto X has 3 Microphones on its Front, Top and Back. Thanks to its 3 microphones and ambient noise cancellation, the Voice Quality during Calls made with the Moto X is absolutely clear at the receiving end.

One of the key features of the Moto X is ‘Touchless Control’. Touchless Control lets you control your phone by speaking commands. Touchless Control is an application different from Google Voice Search but it works with Google Voice Search. The User has to train the phone to recognize his voice. Once the user’s voice is trained the phone will execute the spoken command. Voice Commands on the Moto X can be used for:

  • making a phone call,
  • getting directions,
  • sending text messages,
  • asking questions regarding weather, etc.
  • setting alarms,
  • playing back movies and music,
  • scheduling meetings, etc.

Unfortunately, I could not train the Moto X to recognize my voice in a room which had negligible noise. I was disappointed. Touchless Control is one of the key features of the Moto X as such I believe there could have been an issue with the review unit received by me.

One of the complaints of most smartphone users today is that of Battery Life. The Moto X leads here. It comes with a long lasting 2200 mAh Battery. During Mixed Standby Use, the Moto X Battery lasted for over 2 days 22 hours with 10% remaining (see Picture below). However, the Moto X feels warm in the hand within 10-15 minutes of use. Its Battery Charger also heats up considerably during battery charging. Both these issues need to be addressed by Motorola.

Battery Life Moto X(Click on the Picture above for enlarged view)

The Moto X also offers NFC capabilities and supports Motorola Skip and third party NFC Tags with the NXP chipset. I did not test the NFC capabilities of the phone.

The Front Camera on the Moto X is a 2MP Camera with 1080p HD video capabilities. It is a good camera for making Video Calls and taking Selfies.

The Rear Camera on the Moto X is a 10MP CLEAR PIXEL (RGBC) Camera with an LED Flash. It supports Quick Capture, recording 1080p HD video @30 fps, 4X Digital Zoom, Slow Motion Video, Burst mode, Auto HDR, Panorama Mode and Focus/Exposure Control. The Camera is very easy to set up and use. Keeping in view its Specifications and Features, I expected the Rear Camera of the Moto X to be very good. However, the Rear Camera on the Moto X is its biggest disappointment. The Pictures shot with the Moto X appear soft and as if a Plastic Film has been placed over the Camera Lens. I checked its Lens a few times, but there was no film on the Lens. Pictures taken Indoors with the Rear Camera using Fluorescent Lighting are Dull. The biggest disappointment on the Moto X is the poor performance of its Rear Camera. Motorola must upgrade the Camera Software on the Moto X to improve its camera performance to whatever extent possible.

Other than the poor performance of the Rear Camera on the Moto X, I did not find any major shortcoming in the Moto X. Rear Camera performance is one area which Motorola must address to whatever extent possible. After these discoveries, I conclude that the Moto X is not a Phone for Geeks looking for higher end specifications but for day-to-day Consumers who want an easy-to-setup and easy-to-use Smartphone built with features for their convenience and with them in mind. I also conclude that to make Moto X a runaway success like the Moto G, Motorola should reduce the price of Moto X from Rs. 24,000/- to around Rs. 15,000/-.

Amkette Trubeats Metal Wireless Speaker Review

Amkette TruBeats Metal Wireless SpeakerAmkette, the popular manufacturer of Floppy Diskettes during the nineties has diversified into PC Peripherals, Audio Video Accessories and Speakers. Amkette recently launched its Trubeats ‘Metal’ Wireless Speaker, a small ultra portable Power Speaker with an inbuilt rechargeable Battery, Bluetooth and Speaker Phone capability. The Trubeats ‘Metal’ Wireless Speaker is available from online retailers Flipkart, Amazon and Snapdeal for Rs. 2090/- onwards (MRP Rs. 2995/-).

The Trubeats ‘Metal’ Speaker is equipped with Bluetooth for wireless connectivity with Mobile Phones, Tablets, Laptops and other devices equipped with Bluetooth functionality. It is also equipped with Speaker Phone capability for answering calls using its inbuilt Microphone on the Desk, in the Car or Outdoors.

The build quality of the Trubeats ‘Metal’ Speaker is solid and impressive. It also looks decent. The Speaker is built with a ‘Metal Alloy Drum’ . The Metal Alloy drum enables the Speaker to produce very clear high and mid frequencies and good low and low-mid frequencies.  The Trubeats ‘Metal’ Speaker is equipped with 4 Buttons for Playback, Fast Forward, Reverse, Volume +/- and Power On/Off functions. The inbuilt Battery of the Trubeats Metal Speaker is charged via its Mini USB Port. It is equipped with Three Color LEDs, which attractively display the status of Bluetooth connectivity as well as Battery Charging.

The Trubeats ‘Metal’ Speaker is magnetically shielded. The anti-magnetic shielding prevents magnetization of nearby Electronic Devices and allows placement of the Speaker near Laptops, external Hard Disks,  and other electronic devices.

The Specifications of the Speaker are as under:

  • Speaker Size: 40 mm
  • Output: 3W
  • Frequency Response: 180Hz-20KHz
  • S/N Ratio: ≥80dB
  • Bluetooth Version: 2.1 Class 2
  • Profiles supported: A2DP V1.2, AVRCP V1.4, HSP, HFP
  • Range: Up to 10 m

  • Weight: 315 gm

Specifications Source: Amkette website. We tested the Amkette Trubeats Metal Speaker and noted the following:

Pros:

  • Attractive, compact and ultra portable
  • Solid build
  • Anti-magnetic shielding for safe and convenient placement near other electronic devices
  • Clear Sound, specially the high and mid frequencies
  • Quick and easy connectivity with Bluetooth devices
  • Convenient Buttons for Music Playback, Forward, Reverse, Pause, Vol.+/- and Speaker Phone
  • 3 Color LEDs attractively display the battery charging and Bluetooth connectivity status
  • Convenient Interfaces: Wireless: Bluetooth, Wired: Aux-in/Earphones Input, Mini USB Charging Port (although Micro USB would have been more convenient)
  • Playback time of over 5 hours over Bluetooth
  • Reasonable price, almost 50% of other popular Wireless Speakers available in the market.

Cons:

  • Not possible to interconnect Two Trubeats Steel Speakers for Stereophonic Sound
  • Handset compatibility issue over Bluetooth
  • Vol. Buttons do not operate in Aux Mode
  • Short Aux Cable ~18”

The Missing Bits:

  • No Setup/User Guide
  • No Battery Charger

Detailed Review:

Sound Quality using ‘Aux In’ via Laptop

We tested the Amkette Trubeats ‘Metal’ Wireless Speaker with Audio CDs and MP3 Music with Bit rates up to 320 Kbps on a Laptop using the supplied Aux/EP cable. The sound quality of this Speaker is very good, clear and distortion-free. It plays high and mid frequencies very well and responds well to Equalizer Changes. The Speaker also responds well to various Equalizer Settings from the Laptop. Upon playback of music from the Laptop, you do not miss the Second Speaker. However, the Speaker Volume cannot be controlled from Speaker.

Sound Quality on Bluetooth via Mobile

The Amkette Trubeats ‘Metal’ Speaker is connects very easily and quickly (in under 30 seconds) over Bluetooth. However, over Bluetooth, the Amkette Trubeats ‘Metal’ Speaker has Mobile Handset Compatibility issues. We tested the Amkette Trubeats Bluetooth Speaker with multiple Mobile Phones. The sound quality was nice and clear upon playback of music with the Motorola Moto G and Samsung Note (N7000) mobiles. However, upon playback of music with the Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro mobile, we got an output with intermittent gaps. For as long as the sound played, it was very clear, but the intermittent gaps in music playback spoiled the listening. The intermittent gaps in music playback may be due to Bluetooth version compatibility or buffering issues. To avoid disappointment, before buying the Amkette Trubeats ‘Metal’ Speaker, check its compatibility with your mobile handset by playing music over Bluetooth for a few minutes. Buy this Speaker only if there are no gaps in music playback with your handset.

Call Quality on Bluetooth via Mobile

We tested the call quality of the Amkette Trubeats ‘Metal’ Speaker with Motorola Moto G, Samsung Note (N7000) and Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro mobile handsets. The Speakerphone Call Quality was very disappointing across all the handsets with which we tested the Speaker. A very annoying echo is heard by the Caller when this Speaker is used. The Microphone of the Speaker is not very effective beyond approx. 12”. The echo received by the Caller might be due to lack of Noise Cancellation, the proximity of the Microphone to the Speaker and the High Output of the Speaker.

The Small but Important Things

  • Playback Time over Bluetooth on Battery: Tested the Speaker over Bluetooth, on Battery for  approx. 6 hours. Amkette claims 8 hours playback time. Sweet!
  • Bluetooth Operating Distance: Approx. 10 feet with a brick wall in between.
  • Sound Output: Loud and Clear for a room size of 100-200 sq. feet.

Conclusion:

A good value-for-money ultra portable wireless speaker at a great price. Not recommended for use as a wireless Speakerphone. If you are not buying it for use as a Speakerphone, you will enjoy using it.

Lava E-Tab Z7H Tablet Review

Consumer Alert: Lava E-Tab Z7H Tablet

Indian mobile handset vendor, LAVA International Ltd. is misleading and cheating Consumers of Tablet PCs by falsely communicating and wrongly advertising the Processor Speed of its Lava E-Tab Z7H Tablet as 1.2 GHz whereas actually it is just 1 GHz.

Lava has printed a wrong and misleading Processor Speed on the E-Tab Z7H Tablet’s Retail Packaging, in its Downloadable User Guide and its website.

Check-out the following Picture of the Retail Packaging of the LAVA E-Tab Z7H Tablet with a wrong and misleading Processor Speed printed on it:

LAVA E-TAB Z7H TABLET

(Click on the Image above for Enlarged View)

The wrong and misleading Processor Speed of the Lava E-Tab Z7H Tablet has also been specified on the Lava website:

(Click on the Image above for Enlarged View)

We tested the Lava E-Tab Z7H Tablet for its Processor Speed using Quadrant Standard, Antutu, CPU Master and Four other Benchmarking and System Information Applications.

To our utmost surprise, with all 6 Benchmarking and System Information Applications, we found the Processor Speed of the Lava E-Tab Z7H Tablet to be  just 1 GHz and not 1.2 GHz as falsely communicated by Lava and its online Retailers. The Benchmarking and System Information Test Results of the Lava E-Tab Z7H Tablet are shown in Pictures below:

Before purchasing any unbranded or re-branded Android Tablet you should verify the ‘Maximum Speed’ of its Processor using popular Benchmarking Software like Quadrant and AnTuTu, both available free-of-cost at the Google Play Store. During the last 30 days Quadrant and AnTuTu Benchmarking Software has been individually downloaded 1 – 5 Million times. (Statistics Source: Google Play Store). You may also use other Benchmarking and System Information Applications like Elixir2, Z-Device Test, Passmark Performance Test, CPU/RAM/Device Identifier (version 5.2.0+) and Linpack for the same.

The usefulness of these Benchmarking and System Information Applications can be ascertained from the fact that during the last 30 days alone, up to 11.5 Million Users have installed these Applications on their Android Devices. (Statistics Source: Google Play Store).

The Lava E-Tab Z7H Tablet uses an Allwinner – A13 SOC (System-on-Chip). A Cortex A8 Processor with a Speed of 1 GHz is built inside every A13 SOC.

The following Description and Table from the ARM website clearly shows that the Maximum Speed of the Cortex A8 Processor used in the Lava E-Tab Z7H Tablet is 1 GHz and not 1.2 GHz:

From the Description and Table above, it becomes clear that ARM has designed the Cortex A8 Processor for a speed up to 1 GHz. It also becomes absolutely clear that Lava is misleading Consumers of Tablet PCs by wrongly specifying a Processor Speed of 1.2 GHz in its E-Tab Z7H Tablet.

It is relevant to note that other vendors of Tablet PCs like BSNL-PANTEL and TATA-CROMA, who are also using the Cortex A8 Processor in their Tablet PCs are correctly mentioning its Speed as 1 GHz.

PANTEL correctly mentions the Speed of the Cortex A8 Processor used in its Penta T-Pad IS701C, IS703C, IS801C, WS802C and WS704C Tablet PCs as 1 GHz.

TATA-CROMA also correctly mentions the Speed of the Cortex A8 Processor used in its CRXT1075 Tablet PC as 1 GHz.

PANTEL is offering its BSNL approved PENTA T-Pad IS709C Tablet with Features and Specifications similar to the Lava E-tab Z7H for just Rs. 3995/-. The Penta T-Pad IS709C is 37% cheaper than the Lava E-Tab Z7H at its current online price of Rs. 5499/-.

PANTEL is also offering its BSNL approved PENTA T-PAD IS701C Tablet with a full size USB Host Port, a HDMI Port for LCD TV/Projector connectivity and other Features and Specifications similar to the Lava E-tab Z7H Tablet for Rs. 4946/-. The Penta T-Pad IS709C is 11% cheaper than the Lava E-Tab Z7H at its current online price of Rs. 5499/-.

TATA-CROMA  is offering its CRXT1075 Tablet PC with the latest Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) OS. The CRXT1075 Tablet PC comes with a Screen Guard and a Pouch. It is priced at Rs. 5990/-. The Screen Guard and Pouch are not provided with the Lava E-Tab Z7H Tablet. The CRXT1075 Tablet is available in easy EMIs and a 15 days Money-back Guarantee  from cromaretail.com. The Croma CRXT1075 Tablet PC is also available at Croma and Croma-Zip Stores all over India. Croma service for its house brand ‘Croma’ is said to be good.

In the Lava E-Tab Z7H Tablet, Popular Browsers like Firefox and Chrome for Android DO NOT work properly. While using Firefox typed characters are not visible in the Tablet. While using Chrome its Touchscreen becomes non-responsive on the edges.

Application-Not-Responding‘ messages appear in plenty while using the E-Tab Z7H Tablet. The E-Tab Z7H Tablet’s compatibility with popular Android software is absolutely untested and the user is left frustrated using this Tablet.

Switching the Equalizer On/Off is a Difficult Task and it is simply Not Possible to adjust the Bass Boost and 3D Effects in the E-Tab Z7H Tablet.

The Low Brightness and Poor Quality Microphone of this Tablet leave a lot to be desired. The Low Brightness and Poor Quality of the Microphone of this Tablet become prominently noticeable during daytime Video Playback and Skype Calls using this Tablet.

We found the wireless connectivity of the E-Tab Z7H Tablet to be good over WiFi compliant Routers.

The Lava E-Tab Z7H Tablet is prone to scratches and within 4 weeks of usage with reasonable care, the back side of our E-Tab Z7H Tablet has got noticeable scratches.

The Battery Charger of the Lava E-Tab Z7H Tablet warms up considerably and does not have a single Safety Approval. Check-out the Battery Charger of any Samsung/Apple/Nokia/LG/Blackberry/Motorola/Sony/Acer or other reputed brand of Tablet or Mobile Phone or Laptop. You will see many Safety Approvals on each every Battery Charger. The ‘Safety‘ and ‘Maximum Current Handling Capability‘ of the Battery Charger of this Tablet is questionable.

Its bundled ‘Moon+’ Ebook Reader is convenient. Moon+ and many other good Ebook Reader applications can be downloaded along with Thousands of Ebooks, free-of-cost from the Google Play Store. I found at Two Ebooks bundled with the E-Tab Z7H Tablet to be good.

The bundled ‘Merit Nation‘ and ‘Tata Photon‘ Coupons may be useful for some. With 6-7 months left for children’s exams, the Merit Nation Subscriber may have to pay a full year’s subscription. The Tata Photon Data Card is available free-of-cost in many Circles upon prepayment of 2 months subscription. So both these Offers may not be the most attractive offerings for customers.

I rate the rest of the bundled content as Bloatwareunnecessarily using the E-Tab Z7H Tablet’s Resources. The bundled content has been preloaded on the Internal Storage/ROM of the E-Tab Z7H Tablet, so everything (including the unwanted content) shows up again, every time the Tablet is restored to its Default Settings.

The Lava E-Tab Z7H tablet does not come with a User Manual. Its User Manual has to be downloaded from the Lava website. The ‘Connectivity’ Page on the Lava website provides a Software Update for the E-Tab Z7H Tablet but does not inform its purpose i.e. whether it is for the USB Data Cards or otherwise.

Significantly, we found that the Lava E-Tab Z7H Tablet has Poor Build Quality.

The Battery inside the E-Tab Z7H Tablet is neither held in any ‘Battery Slot’ nor with any ‘Battery Retention Mechanism’. The Battery has been fixed inside the Tablet using cheap Cello Tape! The Poor Build Quality of the Lava E-Tab Z7H Tablet is shown in the Picture below:

LAVA E-TAB Z7H TABLET POOR BUILD QUALITY

(Click on the Image above for Enlarged View)

Battery Charging and Long Duration Usage of the E-Tab Z7H Tablet causes “Temperature Rise” inside the Tablet. Due to the temperature rise and over a period of time, the cello tape may loosen and come-off. Consequently, the loosely fitted Battery inside the Tablet may cause:

  1. a “Short Circuit” inside the Tablet and “Permanent Damage” to other Components inside the Tablet such as its Camera, Main Board, LCD Panel, Processor, RAM, Storage Devices, Connecting Cables, Connectors, etc.
  2. Injury to the User of the Tablet“. (More likely if the Unit is on-charge at the time of short-circuit inside the Tablet. A Lithium-Ion Battery can explode in case of a Short Circuit.)
  3. Noise from inside the Tablet” upon moving the Tablet.

Please note in the Picture above that there is No UL or equivalent Battery Safety/Compliance Approval or Safe Disposal  Instruction/Graphic on the Battery nor is its Brand or Capacity mentioned. Check-out the Battery of any Samsung/Nokia/LG/Blackberry/Motorola/Sony or other reputed brand of Mobile Phone or Laptops or the Tablets shown below. You will find many Safety Approvals and relevant details on every Battery.

To say the least, such Poor Build Quality is not expected from any Vendor of Tablet PCs.

The following Pictures will give you a clear idea about the Build Quality and Battery Fitment in popular global brands of Tablet PCs:

We communicated all our findings to Lava for their clarifications about the same. Lava did not deny our findings and wanted that we ‘do not publish’ our findings/review about the E-Tab Z7H Tablet on this site. We were also told that a Tablet ‘E-Tab Z7H+’ similar in appearance to the ‘E-Tab 7ZH’ Tablet shall be launched during the end of this month. For the Z7H+ Tablet to be worthy, we hope that it has a faster Processor, a higher capacity Battery, a Standard USB Host Port, HDMI Port and a safer method to hold the Battery inside the Tablet.

Update: 11 October 2012. Lava has launched its Z7H+ Tablet. On its website Lava states the speed of the Cortex A8 Processor in the Z7H+ Tablet as 1GHz. The Z7H+ Tablet is equipped with Stereo Speakers. Lava website states that the Z7H+ Tablet supports Airtel E1731, Idea E1732, Reliance 3G MF190, MTS Mblaze AC2746 EVDO and Reliance EC150 EVDO USB Data Dongles. There is no mention of support for Tata Photon EC156 and EC1261 USB Data Dongles. Both these Tata Photon Dongles are supported in the Lava Z7H Tablet. The Tata Photon Offer is also not available with the Z7H+ Tablet. The Z7H+ Tablet may be using a different SOC. The HDMI Port and a Full Size USB Host Port are also not available on the Lava Z7H+ Tablet. The 512MB RAM, 4GB ROM and 2800 mAh Battery Capacity in both the Lava Tablets remain the same.

A “Detailed Performance Review” and a “Video Review” of the Lava E-Tab Z7H Tablet is coming soon on this site. Do check them out.

Due to the above mentioned facts, I do not recommend the Lava E-Tab Z7H Tablet. With all its deficiencies, the Lava E-Tab Z7H Tablet is also expensive. Brands like BSNL-PANTEL and TATA-CROMA in particular offer better Tablet PCs which offer superior performance and much better value for your money.

For immediate purchase, you should consider the Penta T-Pad IS709C, Penta T-Pad IS701C or the Croma CRXT1075 Tablet PC. You can also wait for the new Akash II/ Ubislate 7C Tablet. It has Mobile Phone Capabilities (SIM Slot), a 1 GHz Cortex A8 Processor and other specifications similar to the Lava E-Tab Z7H Tablet. The new Akash II/Ubislate 7C Tablet has won rave pre-launch reviews outside India. It is expected to be launched in October 2012 at approx. Rs. 4500/-.

Some Comments about the Lava E-Tab Z7H Tablet by Flipkart Buyers are:

(Click on the Image above for Enlarged View)

Our findings of the Actual Processor Speed of the Lava E-Tab Z7H Tablet have also been confirmed by Tech2.in in in their independent review of the Lava E-Tab Z7H Tablet dated 28 September 2012:

(Click on the Image above for Enlarged View)

Lava is also making false communications while advertising its E-Tab Z7H Tablet through online retailers like Flipkart, Ezoneonline, Snapdeal, Infibeam, etc. Consequently, Lava is also spoiling the trust of Consumers in these Online Retailers. Check-out the following Pictures with the wrong and misleading Processor Speed of the LAVA E-Tab Z7H Tablet in the Advertisements and Offers of Flipkart, SnapDeal and Ezoneonline.

With false and misleading communications, poor build quality and unfair trade practices Lava would lose Customers sooner than later. If you own a LAVA E-Tab Z7H, ask your Retailer for a Refund.
