Samsung Galaxy S III to launch in London on May 3

Samsung Mobile is sending out invites for an event that is to be held in Earls Court Exhibition Center, London on May 3. The tagline for the big launch says, “COME AND MEET THE NEXT GALAXY”, which coincides with the rumors for the Samsung Galaxy S III launch that had been the buzz a few weeks back with image leaks on Reddit and other technology blogs. Samsung would also livestream the product launch via Samsung’s Official Facebook Page and the Samsung Tomorrow blog.

Folks interested to watch the live streaming can tune to the aforesaid sites at 7PM UK time (11:30PM IST).

The rumored specs of the Samsung Galaxy S III include an HD Display, Quad-Core CPU and Android ICS.  We hope that the mysterious and rumored buzz for the ‘S III’ finally gets unfolded with some brilliant specs and other goodies. Sony Mobile has officially launched the Xperia S Android Smartphone in India. The Xperia S was showcased along the Xperia P and Xperia U at MWC 2012, which belongs to Sony’s next generation flagship, the NXT Series. The Xperia S flaunts beautiful style and design while boasting great hardware specifications for stable performance. It comes with a 4.3-inch Reality Display (1280×720 pixels) with Mobile BRAVIA Engine, 1.5 GHz Dual-Core CPU, 1GB RAM, 32GB in-built storage, 1.3MP front camera (supports HD Video recording at 720p), 12MP rear camera with LED Flash (supports Full HD Video recording at 1080p), 1750 mAh battery and Android Gingerbread 2.3(supports upgrade to Android ICS 4.0 by Q2 this year).

Value Pack for Samsung Galaxy S hits Korea, adds Android ICS like features to Gingerbread

Samsung Galaxy S owners in Korea can finally consider the rumors to be true, the manufacturer has introduced a ‘value pack’ for the Samsung Galaxy S, Galaxy K and Galaxy U. The update is targeted to bring Android ICS 4.0 alike features to its mid level segment. Its great to see Samsung making an initiative for its users base considering that the Galaxy S was launched way back in mid 2010 with Android 2.1 Éclair loaded on to it.  The ‘value pack’ would introduce features including the famous facial unlock, the ability to click images while recording videos, enhanced photo editing functionality, and fresh folder options to the launcher menu. We know that many of you would not like to settle for anything besides the Android ICS 4.0 on to your smartphones. For Android lovers and geeks who have already played around with some custom ROM’s can try out the ICS based ROM’s available across the market.

The ‘value pack’ update for now stands still for the manufacturers homeland Korea, we still await news on region or country specific release for the same.
